Monaco Park - named after the Monaco family who owned property within the suburb. This park is a designated dog exercise area.

Bassett Reserve - named after Joe Bassett who was a dairy farmer in Bibra Lake and a member of the Fremantle District Roads Board. This park is a designated dog exercise area.
North Lake has a rich history dating back 8,000 years with amazing aboriginal cultural heritage that includes archaeological and mythological registered sites, we understand that 'Coola', as in Lake Coolbellup means; 'Place of the Children'.
